Es ist vielleicht ein Fehler aufgetreten und <code>youtube-dl</code> hat abgebrochen mit der Meldung, dass ein „update“ durchzuführen sei. Lösung ist die Aktualisierung von <code>youtube-dl</code>:<br />

# (1) als Administrator anmelden<br />

# (2) Passwort eintippen, Enter drücken<br />
# (3) youtube-dl eine Selbstaktualisierung durchführen lassen<br />
youtube-dl --update<br />
# (4) nach Aktualisierung als Administrator wieder abmelden<br />
exit<br />
# (5) jetzt agiert man wieder als normaler Benutzer und kann youtube-dl i.d.R. wieder normal benutzen<br />
