Create ePub

Sigil

Install Sigil.

• Add to Software Sources in the Software Center: deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/rgibert/ebook/ubuntu precise main
• sudo apt-get update
• Install Sigil from the Software Center.

LibreOffice

• Install LibreOffice
• Install the extension Writer2ePub: http://extensions.openoffice.org/en/project/Writer2ePub
• Open your document and click the green "E" icon to enter the metadata and export it to epub.

• Enable Cyrillic fonts
  • only the "Original" font doesn't support Cyrillic, all other fonts do. Change the font: <Menu button> -> Font -> <Select Font Type> then select any but Original, e.g. "Frutiger Neue".
